****A note about attire from Larry Williams: Some places will expect a nicer fit–Parliament, for example. Tell them one “nice” outfit and casual for class on campus. Shorts and t-shirts for long walking field trips.****
And at last, here’s the schedule for our time in London: SOCIOLOGY – STUDENT COPY
I recognize that we will be coming to London with a wide variety of experiences with sociology. In order to make sure that we are all on the same page and that your sociological imaginations are in good working order, make sure you’ve read the following things before you leave: The Nacirema; Berger-Invitation to Sociology-Ch. 1 (begin with paragraph on p. 11 “It can be said” and continue to the end of the document).
Make sure to bring (h/t Goldberg): Last Minute Items update: Ignore number 9-that was for Gary’s photography class only.
FOR JESSICA ONLY-Here’s the book review assignment: Jessica Fletcher-London-Book Review. And here’s a sample review: in-search-of-respect-review.
